Misinformation usage in communication hijacking

We study how AI is used to create and disseminate false information in ways that threaten democracy. We map citizens’ vulnerabilities to disinformation, misinformation, and other digital threats, and develop methods for detecting communication capture, weaponization, and other communication-related threats.
