Generative AI and hallucinations

We develop methods for identifying erroneous answers generated by large language models, so that language models can be used reliably in public digital services.

Language models and other AI applications are intended to make public services more efficient, but their suitability and acceptability, as well as the potential effects of errors on the functioning of society, remain unclear. The aim is to increase understanding of how and what kinds of applications could be adopted.
